As a student whose first language is not English, a Dictionary is an integral part of my life. With internet changing our lives so much, why not use a dictionary which gives the flexibility to get data from internet. The solution is "Wordweb". It's a free dictionary (no piracy). If you are not connected to internet, don't worry. It works well still. But if you've an internet connection, then it can get data from Wiktionary and Wikipedia real-time, which is great, I'd say. Even pronunciation is available as a separate download (only the American, sorry UK English users).
